The Brattain Cemetery is a private burying place for members of the pioneer Brattain family who came to Oregon in 1847. The first burial here (grave not marked) is said to have been a boy by the name of WHITE, probably an orphan for he came to Oregon with J. H. Brattain but was not accompanied by his parents. The date of his death is not known.
