From "Sweet Home: In the Oregon Cascades" by M. Carey & P. Hainline:

"Many other old cemeteries are scattered over the hills, most containing only a few graves. Some have been completely obliterated by nature. The Wiley Cemetery on the Andrew Wiley Donation Land claim about two miles south of Foster is small, with only seven graves when surveyed in 1967 by Mrs. Haskin and Mrs. Healy. Andrew Wiley, 1819-1902, pioneer of 1852, first man to settle east of Wiley Creek, discoverer of a new route over the Cascades, is buried here. His first wife, Lucy, 1820-1864, is nearby, as is his second wife, Elizabeth, 1844-1921. An infant daughter, Inez Wiley, was born and died December 1, 1872. George Woodruff Wilson, 1856-1886, and a Wilson baby are the only others buried here."
